WORKSHOPS
Business plans get a bad rap these days, but actually they are important tools for achieving your writing career goals. This workshop will provide attendees with the knowledge, templates, resources and knowledge they will need to develop their own customized business plan. A plan that will help them achieve their vision of what a successful writing career means to them.
In this workshop we will create the basics of a writing business plan including how to create :
1. A values statement
2. A vision statement
3. A mission statement
4. S.M.A.R.T. goals
5. How the parts of a business plan reinforce each other
6. How to use your business plan
7. Where to find additional resources
Attendees will leave with a start on their personalized worksheets, a business plan template, printouts to use as reference materials as they move forward and a link to the worksheet package should they want copies of the blank handouts.
